Hope for Hayden

Photographing this little guy was the highlight of the month of February for me. It was a very rough month for me personally, so being around Erika and Hayden and watching the love between them was really just inspiring and it lifted my mood more than I could ever explain. Hayden is the strongest fella you will ever meet. He has been through more hospital rooms, medications, procedures, treatments, etc. than any other (almost) 2 year old ever should have to go through. He has a rare epileptic disorder called Dravet syndrome. There is no cure at this point for this terrible disease, so monitoring it minute by minute with diet and medication is imperative right now for Hayden. As for Erika, she is one of the most genuine, beautiful souls I have ever met in my life. I am so fortunate to have her as one of my best friends, because her heart is so big and the love she gives is so pure. I feel blessed to have been able to capture the beautiful relationship between her and Hayden.

Valentine’s Day Photoshoot

I had the sweetest request from Ashlee at http://www.tusksandtails.com to take some pictures of her boyfriend, Josh, and her for a Valentine’s Day themed shoot! We set out into Lancaster City and had a great time finding beautiful backdrops and places to shoot in front of. These two are adorable together and made photographing them super easy!

It’s the most wonderful time…

So I’m a tad late with this post, but I still wanted to show some of the Christmas pictures I took a few months ago of my favorite little man, Hayden! He was such a trooper through all of the props, positions, cookies, ornaments, lights… etc that his mother and I put him through. We even ended up using my scarf as a prop… cause I mean, why not?
